Oh, dear. We're really at the grim end of reality with this one.

I read the praise of this Hell Militia's 'last station on the road to death', and I feel like a complete idiot. Featuring members of Secrets of the Moon, Temple of Baal, Arkhon Infaustus and Mütilation? Yes, I follow. That should border for some experience and everflowing darkness.

Where I'm lost is where the promo material starts talking about intelligent black metal.  And, no, you nay sayers out there - black metal and intelligent are NOT necessarily mutually exclusible! There are but interesting, deep and amazing black metal combos out there.

In this case, however, I think it's merely in the lyrical universe we're supposed to find this intelligent aspect, and it is damned hard to make out what the hell (no pun intended) is said. And as far as the music goes, this is just not interesting. Standard, run-of-the-mill, no surprises and...well, in my honest opinion, shite drumming.

This doesn't go anywhere for me, sorry.

Next, please.
