Dark End
Assassine
Rating
Style: Melodic Black Metal
Release date: February 19th 2010

Immediately after the intro with church organs and spoken words stop, the aggression and anger explodes out of the boxes. The melodic black-metal (Cradle of Filth/Emperor combination) that Dark End spits out on this world is the kind that will be liked by several fans of this genre. Besides fast tempos they slow down at times to create a more theatrical atmosphere. With symphonic elements and melodic keyboard-lines they do at times sound a bit like a black metal Opera. You can compare it with the last Carach Angren record. Not that they are musically exactly the same, but they both create the same kind of atmosphere.

People, who are into Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir and Carach Angren will love this record. A nice effort by these Italians.
