If you like, cold, razor sharp black metal with a touch of
thrash metal and Dimmu Borgir, I'd say that 'Twilight of the Apocalypse' from
Antares Predator is worth checking out.
I like when an album is not just 2000 bps all the way through, and with the
versatility presented here, there's a lot more on offer.
From the blast massacre of Mark 13 over the midway breather Sacrament to the
monstrous and epic title track, Antares Predator has delivered one of the most
positive surprises so far this year - even if Steffen Schulze doesn't sport one
of my favourite of the genre.
Try it.
