I felt that ABORTED’S latest release ’Strychnine.213’ was a disappointment so I wasn’t exactly celebrating when I was offered to do this 5 track CD called ‘Coronary Reconstruction’.

’Strychnine.213’ was leaning towards melodic death metal and metalcore but fans of ABORTED’S older stuff... ’Goremageddon’ (2003) should be pleased with the return to the more brutal gore-metal.

After (once again) lots of line-up changes ABORTED is blasting their way through ‘Coronary Reconstruction’ with renewed energy and brutality. We get both aggressive vocals and growls... tons of tasty guitar runs and faster than the speed of light drumming. But is it any good? Yes... especially “Grime” is one hell of a death-gore-metal song with excellent heavy guitar runs that reminds me of VADER among others.

We are also treated with an okay version of Entombed’s “Left Hand Path” so hurry up and check this 5 track CD out now.
