Secrets of the Moon

Rating
Style: Black Metal Rock
Release date: September 18th 2009

Multi-facetted, many-layered, grandiose, ‘Privilegivm’ by German black metal outfit Secrets of the Moon draws upon multiple sources of inspiration and offers something new to discover every time you spin the disc.

Mood and atmosphere is present in abundance, aided by spoken pieces, Thelemnar’s expressive drumming and the occasional use of clean guitars.

Not an awful lot to say about this album, really, other than it’s a brilliant piece of metal art!

Recommended for fans of Celtic Frost, Moonspell, Cathedral and black metal that wants to be a lot more than just black metal.
