Nahemah
A New Constellation
Rating
Style: Dark, Progressive Metal
Release date: May 26th 2009

In A new Constellation, Nahemah's second album, we are plunged into a more experimental and spiritual side of forward-thinking heavy music in-between epic beauty, harsh aggression and atmospheric accents.

The traditional dark metal parts can be monotonous, and the voice too dominating.
On another side, something happens when Nahemah goes jazz, on "Air", for example, or in the keyboard-dominated parts: the music then fits the title like a glove. It is floaty, dreamy, full of atmosphere, not without reminding of Anathema, Katatonia, Pink Floyd.

A great approach to music from this quartet from Alicante, Spain.
