Looking for a death/thrash metal release with lots of catchy guitar runs in songs that you can tell apart from each other, even after the very first listen? Well... look no further... ‘cause here it is; HARMANIC – Forsaken Soil!

HARMANIC hails from Austria and was formed around 2004 and now in 2009 they are ready to conquer the world with their debut release ‘Forsaken Soil’.

When I received this 5 track CD I had absolutely no idea what to expect but I was knocked on my knees when the very first riffs began to fill my living room. ‘Forsaken Soil’ is not all about how fast and insane you can play... no, no... this is controlled death/thrash metal of the highest calibre in my humble opinion.

I almost couldn’t believe my ears??? By golly... this band really knows how to write songs with pure, yet catchy guitar runs... so catchy that I just can’t stop listening to this disc.

Every track stands out of its own and even though that this is what I call melodic death/thrash because of  the catchiness it doesn’t water their sound one bit.

Check out their myspace site and hear for yourself. - Expect growls, clean vocals and thrashy guitar riffs peppered with death metal guitar runs in the same vein as the mighty VADER.

Excellent!
