So is this young singer making my day? No not
at all, quite on the contrary. Nothing leaves a lasting mark on me, the complete
album comes across faceless and pale. From the songwriting through the
production and to the songs.
This is plain and simple one of those albums
that will never ever find it's way back in my CD-player. Even after numerous
spins I can't recall a single note or a chorus that makes me hum along with the
song.
And Ela does not have the voice to
capture the listeners either, so all in all I am left bored and begins to wonder
what I wanna listen to next... There is a million other bands doing exactly the
same, just better, stronger and catchier, and in a cut-throat competition I do
no predict better days for Ela any time soon.
