I do not hope that you’re `pure metal intolerant´ because if so, you will have a hard time digesting this brand new album by CATTLE DECAPITATION called ‘The Harvest Floor’.

This death/grindcore band has released their best album ever in my humble opinion. The band sounds tighter than ever and more ‘death’ than ever. ‘The Harvest Floor’ is certainly not for everyone because they are not just fast and aggressive but also quite technical. There’s so much going on in their music that the disc needs several spins to blossom. And believe me... this release is not suitable for background music... YOU HEAR ME??? No... this is one bastard that you really have to LISTEN to if you want to suck up all the details. It might sound a bit chaotic with the first few listens, but after awhile when the guitar runs crawl under your skin, you will feel the need to explore it even further.

CATTLE DECAPITATION’a music is brutal, the vocals are growls and shrieks, the drumming is aggressive spiced with blastbeats now and then. The guitar runs sounds ridiculously complex at times but what the hell... there’s room for that too, right?

The production is alright and if you’re into bands such as; SPAWN OF POSSESSION, CRYPTOPSY, ORIGIN, PSYCROPTIC and maybe even THEORY IN PRACTICE then I’m sure that you will dig this album too.
