Name two metal bands that hail from Scotland? ..... Time is up! I guess most of the readers, including myself, have a problem with the answer to that question. Bleed From Within is at least one of them. After releasing 2 EP's they were picked up by Rising Records to release their debut 'Humanity'. Bleed From Within is an aggressive and brutal metal band with death metal and hardcore ingredients.

The vocals differ from low grunting to more aggressive screaming pitches. A combination we get served by many bands lately. The tracks are all rather short, but that works well, at least we don't get songs with endless repeating riffs and ten times the same parts passing by. The drumming is very tight as it should be in this style of music. What counts for a lot of these modern metal bands is also the point with BFW. The music is as original as a virgin in the Vatican.

Indeed this must be one of the better Scottish metal bands, but outside their country and world-wide there are lots of combo's doing the same style and with the same quality. Not a bad effort, but I don't expect miracles world-wide, but I may be mistaken.
