This brand new album called ’When Death Comes’ by the Danish thrashers ARTILLERY has already taking its well deserved place next to my favourite thrash metal albums of all time. My fellow Danes have written and recorded one hell of an album you can’t afford to miss if you’re into real metal.

You recognise their sound and style at once when you put this CD on, but ARTILLERY sounds fresher, tighter and more powerful than ever. Every single song has something to offer and the band provides us with one great riff after another... and “new” singer Søren Adamsen’s (EX- Crystal Eyes) voice fits the music perfectly.

I was really blown out of my socks the very first time I heard tracks such as; “When Death Comes”, “Upon My Cross I Crawl”, “Damned Religion” and my personal favourite “10.000 Devils”  (to name a few), for the very first time. But don’t worry the rest of the songs are top notch too. It seems like the band has spend years to come up with this hammer album. Everything seems to be thought through. Everything fits like a glove. Every track will slam you up against the nearest wall and then kick you in your guts, so don’t let this CD rot in the store, because it is definitely worth buying.

Album of the year so far in my book.
