Style: Heavy Stoner Rock
Release date: March 23rd 2009

This Italian band with the word-play name Allhelluja released their third album this March. From starters this talented band plays a mix of Black Sabbath, Kyuss and Entombed (the death & roll version). On this record they use the same ingredients of styles and have produced a variety of songs; sometimes heavy with aggressive vocals, then again more stoner rock with clean singing.

Besides the influences mentioned bands like Clutch and even Pantera pass by. This variety of styles combined in good songs make this band one of the better Italian talents. In their home-country they are rather well-known and with this album they will perhaps be recognized outside their home country too. Besides 11 of their own songs there are also 3 covers: "21st Century Schizoid Man", originally by King Crimson, "Into the Void" from Black Sabbath of course and finally "Profondo Rosso" from Goblin - this is the theme to Dario Argento's classis horror movie 'Deep Red'.  All three are well executed versions and especially the last one is also very original.

Stoner-rock fans who love screaming and grunting vocals, some heavier riffs and parts in their songs can seize this one.
