Voodoo Six
Style: Hard Rock
Release date: March 17th 2008

”Faith” is merely an appetizer for Voodoo Six’ new album ”First Hit For Free”, which has just been released. And the album is actually the re-release of their debut album "Feed My Soul" from 2006, with the addition of 'Faith' and another running order. The whole thing has been remixed by legendary Canadian engineer Mike Fraser (Van Halen, AC/DC, Aerosmith etc.).

Voodoo Six plays hard rock with an attitude and balls, and I am sure that they have had a record or two with bands like Guns 'n' Roses, Skid Row and Love/Hate in their respective record collections... The three songs are all well written, executed and produced, and this single offers three dirty rock tunes that simply entertain.

I won’t pass judgement on them based on these 3 songs, but can promise you that if the rest of the songs have the same standard, then I am sure we can look forward to a very promising album from these British rockers.

Take a listen at Myspace and look for their new album in stores now.
