Looking for a great modern melodic death metal release? Well... look no further. This EP entitled “Chifra” is SATARIEL’S fourth release and it contains 4 songs... 4 well written and well played songs that easily could appeal to every lover of the above mentioned genre.
The 4 songs sound very much the same with first listen but after a few spins the songs comes alive and now numerous spins later I can’t seem to get them out of my head. I find myself humming their songs in the middle of the streets and I’m really looking forward to put my hands on their forthcoming full length album.
Almost everything seems to fit here... the riffs, the production and the choruses but I do have one
small complaint; I could have wished for a little more aggression. The songs are almost too melodic at times. Not that I dislike “Chifra”... no, no... not at all, but I do hope for more variety on their next release. But “Chifra” is still a very, very good release in my humble opinion... so check this band out now.
