When you take it upon yourself to make a sequel to your most complete and best album you need to be confident and believe in your music, and André Andersen & co. pulls it off, they have created an album that has all the Royal Hunt trademarks, an album that does not need to hide from it's predecessor: 'Paradox' from 1996.

The past decade has seen people come and go, and Mark Boals has taken over the vocal duties from the departed John West on 'Collision Course... Paradox II'. The album sees Allan Sřrensen re-joining the ranks once more, and he and bass player Per Schelander (House of Shakira) provides a concrete and tight base for the complex and intelligent musical creations from mastermind André Andersen. Marcus Jidell (The Ring) provides the razor sharp guitar work needed to go hand in hand with Andre's huge epic arrangements.

You could say they completes the circle with this sequel to their highly acclaimed fourth album, because they return to their musically as well as lyrically roots, and have created an astonishing album packed with first class neo-classical progressive metal.

'Collision Course... Paradox II' is musically and sonically the best thing to come out of the North Point Productions studio since the first Paradox chapter... Great to have Royal Hunt back firing on all cylinders, ready to take on the world with a new line-up and a brilliant new album...
