’Greed. Filth. Abuse. Corruption’ is the title of the third album from English band BURNING SKIES but my very first close encounter with them. Well... it took this CD several spins to grow on me mostly because of the vocals... (The vocals annoys me a bit... a little monotonous at times) and also because their songs sounds quite similar to each other... at least with the first 2 or 3 listens.

BURNING SKIES is all about death-grind-hard-core metal... and believe me... they sound very, very angry. They thrash like there’s no tomorrow on every single track and even though this album only lasts for, a tad more than 28 minutes, you will certainly have a hard time trying to catch your breath after the CD is done.

The production is great and they know how to handle their instruments but not every single track (11 of them) are excellent... however, most of them are. Just give this album a couple of spins and slowly but surely you will find your self head-banging like crazy to tracks like; “Emocalypse” (My favourite track), “Slashed, Thrashed and Fucked Up Beyond All Recognition”, “Abuse to Confuse” and album opener “Warhate”.

Well... forget this review and buy the damn CD. You won’t regret it.
