Ancara
from Finland is sadly just another perfect example of a bunch of
good musicians capable of writing decent songs and recording them in
an acceptable way. All heard a million times before, done a million
times before, and they will most likely not be the last band to fall
into that trap.
Sure this album does have its moments, and it not like the whole
album stinks. But nothing stands out, nothing makes me wanting to
listen to the album again or discover more about the guys behind it.
I for one have already forgotten all about this up and coming young
band, a band, which mostly likely won't join the elite of melodic
metal any time soon... They need a drastic improvement to get my
attention on their next album...
Next!
