Some will not believe their own ears and run away screaming.

Others will just shake their heads and move on slowly because they are curious to hear if there will at some point be head and tail in this madness.

Others again will love this for being totally nuts.

I like when music is nuts.

BUT there are limits and I’ve reached the conclusion that I belong to group number 2: I’m amazed by the mental surplus this band must have to encompass all the sounds and breaks and styles they have included on this weird 30-track release.

‘A Kid Hereafter…’ is frantic, shrill, brutal, irritating, violent, cranky, fast and slow. By track number 16, you’re gasping for peace and quiet…or just something slightly normal.

The songs vary in length from 6 seconds to 2 min 55 seconds, and, sadly, the longest track is the most horrendous one (instrumental with a REALLY irritating guitar sound!).

Supposedly, the band’s debut was a really nice pop album. Perhaps I should listen to that, because I’m simply not big enough a mind to cope with this output.

Still, I’m left with one little question:

Why?
