WILDKARD is a new band to me but apparently it’s a KICK-off spin. 

According to Escape Music this collection of songs were originally released as a demo only heard by a privileged few but now the rest of the world is finally able to hear these tracks of true Melodic Hard Rock! 

The first thing that strikes me is the irritating sound of the mix; there’s something gravely wrong in the way the instruments are mixed – This leads me to think that this really is a demo! 

Well, having said that, I must admit that the compositions boast with highly melodic trademarks. 

There are hooks galore and a great up-tempo feel to most songs. Had this only been out 15-20 years ago, it would have had better chances of survival! 

For fans of keyboard-driven MHR / AOR, this comes as a melodic gem-to-be.
