A plethora of influences creating a multitude of styles! 

This is a SPIN GALLERY off spin under the name of UNION MAC. They’ve let their influences guide the way although adding their own sheen of originality to this album. 

“Lost in Attraction” seems to derive inspiration from the likes of SAGA, STYX & THIN LIZZY melody-wise but still the album has an overly modern touch to it. 

From my narrow point of perception this sounds lightly progressive albeit rather melodic. I wouldn’t really be able to pigeonhole their sound but as I hinted at, they add touches of 80s greats to this interesting album. 

To me it all sounds a bit too experimental but those THIN LIZZY guitar lines catch me off guard in each and every song. A really catchy album played in a very non traditional manner. 

This album would probably appeal to listeners who’ve been searching for originality in the classic 80s formulas. 

Not bad at all – actually it sounds splendid! Just a tad too strange, if you ask me…
