In my humble opinion, some of the best Heavy Metal was written from 1980 to 1990. And bands like: Saxon, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Accept released high class albums like: Wheels of Steel (1980), The Number of the Beast (1982), British Steel (1980), Painkiller (1990), Balls to the Wall (1984) and Metal Heart (1985). These albums were and still are to this day classics, because they were innovative and showed a new way of doing things.

The new CD from the German band U.D.O is another matter, and I am sorry to say this, but MASTERCUTOR is a shameful rip-off of Accept and some of the other bands as well. I think it is sad, because U.D.O consist of great musicians, like the axe-swinger Stefan Kaufmann and the man with the raw voice, Udo Dirkschneider, who was the voice of Accept.

The band must develop their music with some better melodies, and try to find a style of their own, otherwise they are just a bad copy of music from the past, sorry but I can not recommend this CD.
