Death Metal band Spectral Mortuary was formed in 2003 in Odense, Denmark. They have released a few demos and now it’s finally time for their debut album to be released on the Danish label Mighty Music.

“From Hate Incarnated” is the title and the album is recorded in Berno Studio and is produced by Berno Paulsson (The Haunted, Amon Amarth and Deranged).

The result is a very brutal Death Metal album that need a few spins to ignite, but when it does, be prepared for an onslaught of great guitar riffs and thunderous drumming from Exmortem drummer Morten Siersbæk.

Even though that this is pure old school brutal Death Metal bands like Slayer and Destruction

comes to mind when I listen to it. Don’t worry… this is fucking Death Metal, alright, but a few riffs mind me of above mentioned bands. Especially track 6 “Malignant Intentions" leads my mind towards Slayer.

The music kicks your ass while growler Martin Jørgensen delivers the goods here…his voice

is fucking brutal without being ridiculous and track after track smash your skull in without mercy. Imagine an entire tank division rolling over your filthy little body and you has a pretty good idea what the hell I’m talking about.

The more I listen to this splendid Death Metal release the more I like it and I’m fucking sure

that Spectral Mortuary is travelling against a very bright future.

We get 11 tracks with a splendid production and when you reach the end of this brutal journey

you just want more. Every track is fucking great but maybe track 9 “Among Corpses” are a tad

above the rest in my humble opinion. And then again… I like ‘em all.

So, check this Danish band out if you’re into Death Metal… but do it now, okay?
