American Hard Rock phenomenon JK NORTHRUP has an impressive background having recorded with the likes of KING KOBRA, XYZ & PAUL SHORTINO. 

On his latest solo release, “Wired In My Skin”, he’s teamed up with a few of the grand ol’ boys of US Hard Rock, namely Terry Ilous, Kelly Keeling, Ted Poley, Johnny Edwards just to name the most prominent Sirs! 

The outcome of his fiery Hard Rock guitar explosions and the trademark vocals of the above mentioned vocalists create an interesting combo of typical post 2000 Hard Rock mixed with old-school Hard Rock influences. 

Production sounds flawless to me and similarities to the latest effort by NIGHT RANGER are hard to avoid! That also means world class stuff, but probably best enjoyed by fans of classic late 80s Hard Rock acts! 

A few of the tracks on this album are instrumentals which showcase JK’s abilities on the 6-string. 

An interesting album of well-produced Hard Rock! 

A hot-spot would be the “The Road” – An intriguingly beautiful ballad!
