Kill the Romance
Take another Life
Style: Melodic Death / Thrash Metal
Release date: March 26th 2007

A short bio:

Kill the Romance was formed in 2004 in Finland by Mika Tanttu, Ville Hovi, Tomi Luoma, and Antti Kokkonen. In 2005 Raimo Posti joined the band. Kill the Romance released a few demo CD’s and in January 2005 they was chosen from over 150 unsigned bands to play in the Finnish Metal Expo happening. Now it is finally time for Kill the Romance to release their debut full-length album entitled “Take another Life” on Locomotive Music.

Kill the Romance plays Melodic Death/Thrash Metal. The music is thrashy and aggressive but at the same time fucking melodic. The vocals is everything from aggressive, almost screaming at times, to clean vocals and we even get growls to spice things up a bit.

My humble opinion of “Take another Life”:

Damn… this album is fucking, freaking great! I can listen to this album 10 times in a row without getting tired of it. I just fucking love everything about it. The drumming, the riffs… damn, the riffs… tight, precise, crushing and melodic. The choruses… mostly sung with clean vocals… fucking melodic and memorable. I just can’t get songs like; “I’m Alive”, “Ghost White Coma”, “Inner Cell” and “Friend” out of my fucking mind. Sorry for my very bad language… but this album rules, boys and girls. In my very humble opinion a small masterpiece. This album should belong in every real Metal collection… that’s for sure. Damn, this album is so good that I could cry.

The production:

We get 11 songs with a fucking powerful production that kills. Crystal clear, and that’s another punch in the stomach. But now you have to excuse me because I have to listen to this fucking, freaking and fantastic album ONE more time… or maybe another 10 times.
