After the releases of Crystal Tears and Fatal Embrace, Pure Steel Records is ready with the self-titled debut from the Italian Epic Metal band Icy Steel.

Stefano Galeano – Vocals and Guitar (ex-Violence Call) formed Icy Steel in 2005 shortly after he teamed up with Alessandro Oggiano – Drums, Alberto Eretta – Guitar and Roberto Ladinetti – Bass and a 3 track demo was released in December 2005.

Icy Steel does not deliver yet another typical Italian happy Metal tralala album but a healthy dose of DoomSword inspired Epic Metal.

The album starts with a rather boring intro but after that the rest of the ten tracks kicks serious ass, tracks such as “Spatial Dinasty”, “Secret of Rune”, “I See Steel” and “Pandemonic Ride (The Last March)” really show Icy Steel’s potential. They show great innovation, creativity and musical skills.

So this Icy Steel album is a must have for all your Epic Metal freaks out there.
