FUELED BY FIRE was formed in 2002 and they are influenced by bands such as;

Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, Metallica, Testament, among others.

We get 11 tracks here on FUELED BY FIRE’S debut album “Spread the Fire”. 11 tracks of

old school Thrash Metal… just the way I like it. No modern touches here… they play Thrash

music the way it was once.

When I listen to “Spread the Fire” I find myself back in the early 80’s when the Speed/Thrash

evolution gave Hard Rock/Metal a well deserved kick in the butt. There’s no doubt that I’m very

much into old school Thrash… I can’t get enough of it.

I’m lucky that FUELED BY FIRE provides me with almost everything I love about Thrash Metal.

Speed, thrashy riffs, angry vocals, fast drumming, and a very 80’s production.

Well, to be honest, I do think that this album is a solid piece of work… however I’m sure that they have the potential to score even higher with their next album. They are not quite up there with the best yet… but they are close… damn close. Just listen to tracks like “Metal Forever” (if the guitar riffs in this track doesn’t make your head bang, nothing will), “Thrash is back”, “Dreams of Terror” and “Command of the Beast” and you know what I mean.

One small complaint; The guitar solos are not that great… just think Kreator in the beginning of their career and I’m sure you get the point. But I’m still very much into this band and their music. The key words are here; Speed, Thrash and energy. That's all you need if you want your adrenalin pumping at a rapid rate.

Fans of old school Thrash or Thrash Metal in general should definitely check this album out now!
