Cryonic was formed in 2004 and they released a self financed E.P. called ‘Rising’ last year, these five Swedes play a mixture of traditional metal and Power metal.

‘Evil Mind’ consists of ten tracks and a couple of them are actually really good, like the traditional “Warrior” or the more bombastic “Prophecy”.

But there is one big problem with this album; I have been listening to is about eight or nine times now and every time the album ends, I have forgotten all about it.

They are all good musicians and especially the singer Big Swede kicks seriously ass, but they still have a lot to learn, when it comes to writing music.

‘Evil Mind’ will simply be buried under a ton of other heavy / power metal releases.
