When it comes to A.O.R. grand-old-boys there’s really only a handful to pick from.
Up there among the biggest of them, say Mark Mangold, Paul Sabu, Russ Ballard, Jimi Jamison etc. there’s always been a flashing star by the name of Stan Bush!

Most noticeable through his contributions to different soundtracks, i.e. Transformers – The Movie & Kick Boxer, Stan Bush has always been respected and adored by fans of ultra melodic A.O.R.

Nowadays when his CDs are fetching ridiculous amounts of dollars on Ebay his God-like-status only seems to grow bigger yet...

Well, is he an artist with a reputation to hold his name to or has it all just been over-publicised rubbish???

No! Stan Bush is a G-E-N-I-U-S with a capital “G”!

I’ve loved him ever since his legendary “Stan Bush & Barrage” album and the train of perfectly crafted A.O.R. seems impossible to stop… Up through the years on album after album he’s delivered GENUINE and NOSTALGIC A.O.R. – Just the way it was always meant to be! Here on his latest Frontiers release he continues in that familiar vein; perfect production, perfect melody lines, perfect musicianship… Well, just PERFECT!

If, as an A.O.R. listener, you’re able to put your finger on anything gravely wrong on this release, well, I must be deaf!

This is some of the best stuff I’ve heard in many years… Even comparable to the best that SURVIVOR ever released… And then some!
