Jeepers, this is ear-scorching stuff! Last year’s offering from Australian The Berzerker, ‘World of Lies’, was a true tour de force of brutality, and this time around it’s full throttle yet again.

It’s striking how The Berzerker is able to take something that is ultimately warm rock music (death metal/grindcore) and with the help of machines turn it into a raw, cold and mean-sounding hell ride into post-industrial anguish and pain.

Don’t think that there’s no groove in there – there is. It comes out every now and then just to keep you sane.
