Liberty Manifesto

What do we have here? – Airtime featuring the very talented musicians Rik Emmett (Triumph) lead vocals, guitars and bass... and Michael Shotton (Von Groove) on drums, percussion and keyboards. Airtime will become a public, working band with the addition of sidemen Dave Dunlop on guitar and Steve Skingley on bass.

As a long time fan of Triumph I was quite eager to give this album called “Liberty Manifesto” a listen... that’s for sure. And am I disappointed? No... not at all. The Promo-CD I’m holding in my hands contains 12 songs and it’s great to hear Rik Emmett showing his skills on the guitar again.

The music is quite close to Triumph and Rush and at times even to Led Zeppelin and Journey. This album is packed with catchy guitar riffs and just take a listen to “Midnight Black &

Blue”  and “Addicted” and you know what I mean. This is ROCK music... not Metal or Pop.. no, no.. just pure ROCK! And we all do like to ROCK, right?

Just give this album a few spins... maybe 5 or 6 and the more you get to know the songs the more you will like it... I’m sure. “Liberty Manifesto” is produced by Rik Emmet and Michael Shotton and the production is also top notch.

Good old fashioned Rock is back and this is the band to help lead the way.
