Second
album from Zeelion from
Sweden
and a nice surprise. Recorded
and mixed at Studio Underground in
Sweden
, this album didn’t
do much for me the first time I threw it in my CD-player, but of
course I gave it another chance, and a couple of weeks later I’m
really
enjoying listening to this album.
The
music is an almost perfect mix of Neo-classical Metal and Melodic Hard
Rock with memorable choruses and great musicianship. The
songs are varied and become real ear wigs after several listens, which
especially goes for “I Burn” and “I Remember”.
Yes,
this is first class music with soaring vocals, great guitar work
and nice
melodies… it just needs a little time to grow. Fans
of Yngwie Malmsteen, At Vance or Neo-classical Metal in general should
take a listen to this release when it hit the stores. You could be
in for a nice surprise.
