One thing is for sure when you pick up a new Ten album - they stay faithful to their sound and style, and Gary Hughes's unique writing style and vocals are very easily recognizable.

Gary Hughes is blessed with a wonderful melodic voice and he has throughout his entire career written many excellent melodic hard rock songs, not only for Ten but also for his side projects as well as for guys like Bob Catley. And within his little niche of rock he continues to create brilliant songs... which this new Ten album 'The Twilight Chronicles' is another fine example of.

Ten has throughout their career constantly produced great melodic hard rock albums and 'The Twilight Chronicles' features all the usual opus of hooks, riffs, excellent melodies and themes that has always been synonymous with a Ten release.

Once more they've set the bar in melodic hard rock very high, and as a fan I am very, very pleased with this new album - and Ten remains on top of this arguably small niche in rock.

Best moments on this album to me are the 2 epic songs: "The Prologue/Rome" and "Hallowed Ground", and the rest are almost as great as those 2 - so do check this great new Ten album out, once it's released...

For Ten fans as well as hard rock fans this is a must!
