Unashamedly
leaning against The Beatles’ more pleasant and catchy efforts,
King’s X guitarist and vocalist Ty Tabor has created a very
enjoyable solo album. Not with quite as much teeth as we usually
hear from King’s X, but still with some crunch here and there.
Rock
solid with a penchant for frailty best describes the mood of the
11 songs on the album. As you might have guessed, this is not a
party cracker as such, but more like an album you can put on your
car stereo without risking a crash. Well-worth a listen, no doubt.
Go try it.
