The history of Steel Attack goes back to 1995, in 1998 they released a demo tape that got them signed to AFM Records, a year later the debut album “Where Mankind Fails” was Released, a superb power metal release that sound a lot like fellow Swedes Morifade.

The second album “Fall Into Madness” came out in 2001, the music continued in the same direction but it is just a notch better than “Where Mankind Fails”. The next two albums “Predator of the Empire” and “Enslaved” was released by Arise Records, the music style changed to a mixture of power metal and neo classical metal.

After the split with Arise Records in 2005 Steel Attack inked a contract with Massacre Records.

The new album “Diabolic Symphony” continues in the tradition from the two previous albums, Swedish metal somewhere between Tad Morose, Nocturnal Rites and Morgana Lefay. Everything sounds tight and perfect and the vocals kicks serious ass, but I must admit that I like the two first albums more than this one. But if you are into the 3 above-mentioned bands you should definitely give this one a try.

Recommended tracks: “Winterhell”, “I Bow My Head” and “Shallow Seas of Hatred”.
