This must be my lucky month - first I receive the brilliant new album from Pyramaze with Lance King. Then from the master himself I have received this little gem. Shining Star hails from Brazil, and is the brainchild of guitarist Fabio Rocha. Prior to "Enter Eternity" they've released one album "Fatal Mistake" (2001) on Megahard Records.

Fabio Rocha have written all the music and recorded it in Brazil with his fellow companions: Juliano Collombo (Drums), Kuky Sanchez (Bass) and Dinno Zampier (Keyboards). Taking care of the vocals is off course none other than record label owner himself: Mr. Lance King. And there is no need to get into specifics about his performance on this album - with almost familiar fashion he is delivering the goods!

"Enter Eternity" is a good melodic metal album, with lot's of cool songs - all of them check out OK, but the album does however suffer from a somewhat weak production - the drums and some the guitars foremost, the vocal production is OK - done by Lance himself in his own studio.

This should not scare you off, because there are so many fine moments on this album, that you should at least give these guys a try... and I really like the artwork - good one!
