Red
Circuit is the band of well known producer / engineer Markus Teske
(Vanden Plas, Symphony
X, Neal Morse, Mob Rules etc.), he has teamed up with Frank
Bodenheimer (Drums), Oliver
Noerdlinger (Guitar), Tommy Schmitt (ex-Zeus Bass) and none other
than ex-Firewind, ex-Avalon singer Chity Sompala, Markus Teske is handling the keyboards.
“Trance
State” also includes guest appearances by Patrick Rondat,
Stephan Forte from Adagio and Stephan Lill from Vanden Plas.
The
music delivered by Red Circuit is a tight mixture of Vanden Plas,
Threshold and Superior. “Under
the Sun”, “So Hard to be Like God”, “You Might Have Been
Queen” and “Is
it Gold?!” are the tracks that stand out.

I am not a prog freak myself, but I’m sure that all of you
Vanden Plas, Superior etc. bangers out there will love “Trance
State”.
