If
you expect something new and revolutionizing you shouldn’t look
toward German death metal combo “My Darkest Hate”. The style
is death metal in the vein of old school
US
death metal a la Six Feet Under. The band knows how to lash out a
solid groove, guitars and drums sound good, front shouter Chris
Simper has a fairly varied and brutal death style.
Not
at all a bad choice for fans of old school death metal.
Recommended:
“Bow Before Me” stands out as more groovy than the rest,
“Fall of Eden” with it’s staccato riffing and mid-tempo
groove invites to a healthy round of headbanging, “Under One
Flag” with its myriad of riffs and shifts.
