No doubt that Jani Stefanovic (Divinefire, Essence of Sorrow, Ex-Am I Blood, Sins of Omission, Renascent) is a very, very busy man. Divinefire have just released their 3rd album and in January Jani Stefanovic and Essence of Sorrow’s album “Reflections of the Obscure” will be released.

But that’s not enough. No, because we get more music from Mr. Stefanovic, namely the two man band Miseration. Formed in late 2005 Miseration (Jani Stefanovic; Drums, Bass, Guitars and Christian Älvestam; Vocals) will release their debut album “Your Demons – Their Angels”.

We are talking Melodic Death Metal here… 9 tracks with a huge, powerful and crystal clear production. The musicianship is top notch and so are most of the songs. My favourite tracks could very well be “Perfection Destroyed”, “World Lethality” and “Chain – Work Soul”, with both aggressive and clean vocals… and with memorable choruses that sticks like glue.

On the down side we get a few tracks that sound the same to me. And strangely… I enjoy listening to “the not so memorable” tracks, but even after numerous listens I do not remember them. But maybe I’m a bit spoiled when it comes to music?
