Newcomers LOVECHILD from Liechenstein have come up with a solid Heavy Metal album!
The onslaught of highly contoured guitars and blistering drum batteries put together with ex-SATROX shouter, Werner Schweizer’s competent vocals, serves us a really fine combo of melodies classique and pure shredding Metal!

The band reminds me a bit of german metallers WICKED SENSATION in the way that they put their songs together. The overall production sound is pretty similar too actually… We’re not presented to innovative material at all, but for the last remaining die-hard nostalgics, this is a really fine slap of German-styled Euro-Metal. We all know the formula but still we love the sheer power of the music. It’s freakin’ brilliant!

This Liechenstein outfit have, perhaps, put 3-4 fillers on this otherwise splendid debut release but it’s not a fact that makes me frown cos’ there is a fine line in the sequence of songs on this album.

Roger Kaufmann (Guitars) is a former member of TESS, which is a band I’ve never really heard of, but you can truly hear that he knows his way around the fretboard!

Nothing that’ll give you sleepless nights or even wet dreams, but as a contemporary Heavy Metal album it has all the ingredients it needs to have in order to rock you solid!
