Legendary Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi has joined forces with former Deep Purple vocalist Glenn Hughes for his latest studio album 'Fused'.

Sounds like a very good combination, right? Is it a good combination? For some of you out there it certainly is, I’m sure about that. My reaction is that I’m quite disappointed.

I have the deepest respect for Glenn Hughes but his vocals don't do it for me. Sorry.
Of course riff-master Toni Iommi provides us with some very heavy riffs… but sadly, this
isn’t enough for me to save this album for being no more than average.

Most of the songs are slow and heavy, and I miss some variety… some up-tempo tracks. You have to remember this is only MY opinion, but even after numerous listens, this album isn’t very memorable.

- 10 tracks… a good production but average songs! I’m quite sure that this album won’t find its way to my CD-player very often.
