Grave Digger is back with their first single since “The Battle of Bannockburn” from 1998. “Yesterday” is not a new tune it was first released way back in 1984 on the “Heavy Metal Breakdown” album.

There are two versions of “Yesterday” on this single, a re-recorded version and an orchestral version. “The Reapers Dance” is a brand new track, a typical mid-tempo Grave Digger tune. The last track is a cover version of Led Zeppelin’s “No Quarter”.

Chris Boltendahl’s “singing” is up for debate every time Grave Digger releases a new album, I can only say this: "he still sucks".

“Yesterday” is released with a bonus DVD from Grave Digger’s appearance on the Rock Machina festival in 2001, the DVD contains 13 tunes.

Well I would not buy a new CD just for four tracks, I don’t know about the quality of the DVD because Locomotive Records has decided not to include the DVD for reviewing purposes.

This is only for true Grave Digger fans.
