There
is a lot in
L.A.
quartet Fireball Ministry’s sound that is really nice. Just too bad
that all those nice things have been so obviously cloned from seminal
albums from the mighty Sabbath, AC/DC, Maiden and in particular Ozzy
solo. Especially the three tracks “Sundown”, “In the End” and
“Spill the Demons” are more or less nicked from the Prince of
Darkness.
As I
said, there are really good things all over the place on this album, but
it never moves beyond background music for an evening out at the pub
with the lads.
Recommended:
“Hellspeak” (not highly original, but has a lot of atmosphere)
