‘Antikörper’
from Eisbrecher is by any means a decent album, but is for the most
part a simplified version of some of their more known German
colleagues, and I’d recommend checking out Rammstein’s back
catalogue any day.
In
many ways, Eisbrecher is a capable clone of Rammstein, with hard and
pumping rhythms and staccato style vocals in the German language.
The unavoidable comparison is not in Eisbrecher’s favour, though,
as you might have figured out from the rating, it’s more like a
step backward in the chain of development.
Most
of the 13 tracks of the album are suitable for the club scene (i.e.
danceable), but they certainly don’t move any boundaries in terms
of inventiveness.
