While
we wait for the new album from Melodic Hard Rockers Fair Warning,
Frontiers Records
have re-released their first two albums, “Fair Warning”,
“Rainmaker”… and a concert
DVD called, “The Call of the East, Live in Japan”. This show
was filmed back in 1993
in Club Citta in Kawasaki… in
Japan
and it’s now available on the European market for
the first time ever on Frontiers Records.
They
play every single track from their first album and a few more.
The production of this concert
is good and you can clearly see what’s going on, up on stage.
The sound is very good too…
almost too good, if you know what I mean? They must have a very
good sound engineer or
they have done some overdubs in a studio… I don’t know? But
one thing is for sure… they are
very good musicians and they do know how to entertain the
Japanese audience.
To
make a long story short… if you are into Fair Warning, do
check it out.
