Swedish heavy rock band Bullet was formed in 2001 they released a 7 inch single in 2003 on the Sword & Sorcery label called “Heavy Metal Highway”, later that same year the “Speeding in the Night” mini CD was released on Agonia Records, a deal with the Black Lodge label was signed in 2004 and the result is “Heading for the Top”.

The music on “Heading for the Top” is heavily inspired by AC/DC’s Bon Scott era, early Saxon, Judas Priest and Accept.

The first four tracks are pure AC/DC, track five are a mixture of Accept “Breaker” era and early AC/DC, track six “Speeding in the Night” sounds like a track from Judas Priest’s “Stained Class”, with the next three tracks the boys are back in the AC/DC camp again, Judas Priest strike back again with “Raise Hell”, the last track “Bang Your Head” are a mixture of Priest and Accept.

If you are looking for something new and groundbreaking this album is not for you, but if you miss the magic of the early AC/DC, Accept and Priest albums you have to try this one.

Recommended Tracks: “Speeding in the Night”, “Leather Love” and “Bang your Head”.
