After
two demos German band Braindeadz
has released their debut album called “Hang‘em Highschool”. We get
9 tracks of 80’s Thrash. To me Braindeadz is a mix of;
DESTRUCTOR, WHIPLASH, early
SODOM
and SADUS.
So,
when I listen to this CD I feel I’m back in the 80’s when Thrash
gave Metal a
deserved kick in the butt. This album needed a few spins in my CD-player
to sink in. The
production is very 80’s too, and it is possible that you sit there a
little estranged by both
the music and the production the first time you listen to this album, but
if you listen to it several times, the songs will get plausible and will
show us that Braindeadz
are
hopeful newcomers. In fact I have nothing more to say about this
album… except for one thing; -
If you are into 80’s Thrash Metal I suggest you should give this album
a listen.
