Five albums down the road, Denmark’s finest hardcore outfit Barcode are still hammering away without betraying their US hardcore roots.
Those familiar with the band will find few compromises in style and expression. The suitable heaviness of the production is guaranteed by Tue Madsen’s trained ear. The capable new singer SS Graveyard must be termed as a more than worthy replacement for Butch.
Personally, I’m not high-flying by the effort, but that’s just because I never was a big straight-edge hardcore fan. But when even someone as ignorant as I can see the qualities of this, then it must be friggin’ good for a real hardcore fan!
