This
is yet another album on The Laser's Edge for the band, friends of the
band and musicians - and I am neither!
In
all fairness, I am pretty confident that this strange brew of jazz,
classical, rock, fusion, electronic and so many more genres do have it's
justification on the rock scene, and that fans of this kind of music
will drool all over this spacy release.
If
you dig earlier releases from The Laser's Edge like Canvas Solaris or At
War With Self, and bands like Soft Machine or Happy the Man then I
suggest you look into A Triggering Myth as well.
But this is simply so far from my normal musical
preferences and to be honest I fell asleep the first couple of times I
put it on. This album do not move me in any way, nothing makes me even
remotely exited. Sorry but that's the awful truth.
