Arsebreed Munching the Rotten

For fans of Deicide, this release is a definite tryout. The six musicians in Dutch Arsebreed have all been part of the underground for some years and have other projects on the side. Judging from “Munching the Rotten”, their first full length effort, they might want to bet on this horse.  

Although it doesn’t have the ultimate coolness of their US peers, the direct and brutal death metal is efficient and should also be able to impress live. Personally, I need a bit more variation from the blunt brutality to make it really interesting, but I can think of listeners who’ll love this for its persistence and especially for brilliant track titles such as “Vaginal butchery”, “Ripping chainsaw orgasm” and “Chopped in excrements”. Need I say more?
