The Drowning (headliners second stage)They have recently been added to this heavyweight tour package with Vader and Immolation where they will be destroying the stage with their majestic doom/death metal from Wales. The Drowning will only be appearing at three of the tour dates, with their Brighton appearance being as headliners of the second stage at a colossal all day event from the Mammothfest. These dates see the close of their tour supporting and promoting their latest offering, ‘Senescent Signs’, released in 2016. They will soon begin to work on their anticipated follow-up album. You don’t want to miss this opportunity to see them triumphantly close the second stage as headliners!

King Leviathan are well-known in the Brighton scene. They delivered a highly memorable set as always at last year’s Mammothfest (2016) as support to mighty headliners Venom Inc. Mammothfest can’t get enough of them, as they have appeared at festival from 2014 up to 2016.They have in the past also supported well-known metal act, Darkest Hour as main support, as well as appearing on the New Blood Stage at Bloodstock and many more. The Sussex men have been creating chaos in their wake and they are ready to take 2017 by storm, following their successful 2015 EP ‘The Shrine’ which showcased some of their best cultish thrash to date.

Hole In The Sky another local fan favourite in Brighton, who again are no strangers to Mammothfest, playing in 2014 alongside headliners Savage Messiah, Martyr Defiled, Ingested and more! This is a well-established hammering local metal band that continue to grow despite losing their singer Rik (the Mammothfest RIKSTOCK STAGE is named after Rik) to Brain cancer a few years ago. The fact they are back is testament to their unstoppable tech death metal so there is no doubting 2017 is going to be an incredible year for them!

WarCrab hailing from the South West of England and have been impressing audiences throughout the country with their Death Sludge Doom Metal lethal concoction, including 2014’s performance on the New Blood stage at Bloodstock. Following their second EP release with ‘Ashes Of Carnage’ they went on to support the likes of our headliners, Vader, Conan, Incantation and more. In late 2015 the band entered Skyhammer Studios, with Chris Fielding (Conan) to record their latest EP, Scars of Aeons.

Internal Conflict from Leicester, UK are known for their brutal and theatrical live shows, which has seen them win a Metal 2 the Masses event which brought them to the Bloodstock new blood stage, play Headbangers Balls shows, where they shared the stage with Reign Of Fury and Onslaught. They have gone on to play with other heavy hitters such as Unearth, Katatonia, Beholder and more.

VIGIL are coming all the way from Poland and bringing their mix of groove djent with a twist – prepared to be impressed by their unique sound!

Stone Circle are another well-known local Brighton act. They deliver some of the finest progressive death metal in the South Coast and have received high praise from the likes of Metal Hammer and Terrorizer, as well as always going down a storm at Mammothfest! 2017 is set to be an exciting year for them, with a new look and new album coming soon! Let’s hope we get to hear some new material!

Infected-Dead Band-uk from Kent are a vehement modern death metal five piece who haven’t been on the live scene long, making their presence known in 2016, but have quickly received wide praise and got people’s attention.
